... the largest of Norway’s fjords. Again the walk was described as steep and again this was another drastic understatement. It was really, really, really, really steep in Laura’s steepness grading scale as hands and feet were required throughout. Luckily, the views at the top were breathtaking.

As newly found glacier enthusiasts we headed just out of Gaupne to the Jostedalsbreen glacier at the ****rdsbreen arm. Here we had a short walk to our second ...

... Speaking of waterfalls, it's hard to believe that we can get excited to see any more of them at this point. None of us has ever seen so many waterfalls before. We got off the ferry at Kaupanger and on our way to Loen, made a few stops. One was to the Norwegian Glacier Museum where we watched a film about glaciers and spent some time looking at ...

    Gorgeous Geiranger

Today was a very special day, and i suspect the best of the cruise. A rough night's sleep (despite smooth seas as we were within the fjords) meant a spontaneously early rise of 620am and a beautiful breakfast on the deck looking over Geiranger.

Geiranger is a tiny little town with a current population of 246, however with a new house being built and 3 pregnant women they are hoping to break the 250 mark shortly! There is a doctor one a week ...
