    ... views followed by a Rib Boat ride down the fjord to a few of the larger waterfalls. But first a hike. Off we set and climbed a steep and narrow road to the Fijord Centre, then down a path following the river that cascades from the summit to the sea. Pretty spectacular, as was the whole day!     ... s been recently restored and the furnishings are true to the period. We had another plated meal (this time it was lamb, mashed potatoes, and carrots with a brownie for dessert. When we were finished, we were invited to check out the hotel's rooms, even the guest rooms upstairs (as long as the doors were open). We got back to the hotel at around 4 p.m. and Gary and I took a walk near the hotel prior to dinner.

    ... Shortly afterwards, we stopped for a photo op where we could view a glacier called B°yabreen. We weren't very close but it's hard not to be impressed.

    We arrived at our hotel at around 6 and gathered for dinner at about 7:15. Tonight was a buffet; everything I tasted was very good but I have a tendency to eat a plate of salad and vegetables first because we get so few of them here.
