        I've officially been away from home for a week - and it's flown by! Although I've had moments where I would have liked a bit more company, actually the worst thing that's happened so far was when a bird pooed on my tent.         ... s been recently restored and the furnishings are true to the period. We had another plated meal (this time it was lamb, mashed potatoes, and carrots with a brownie for dessert. When we were finished, we were invited to check out the hotel's rooms, even the guest rooms upstairs (as long as the doors were open). We got back to the hotel at around 4 p.m. and Gary and I took a walk near the hotel prior to dinner.
