Diane and I had lunch in the cafe in town. I had the 'burro breath" burger, which was LOADED with crushed garlic - good, but oh my - did I get feedback for days!

Fun little town - lots of neat shops.

    ... OR BUST!!

Through Needles, Essex and Amboy to Barstow. We stopped at the shoe tree - or what we thought was the shoe tree - but foiled! Wrong tree.......ah well...... and Amboy Crater. After checking in to the Route 66 Motel in Barstow we ate Italian at DiNapoli's Firehouse; decent food and full of fire station memorabilia from the area - right up Richard's alley.
