Lodge on the River Bullhead City

Auf dem Weg nach Kingman sind wir auf der Historic Route 66 gefahren...Zuerst eine Enttaeuschung, dann aber doch noch lustig (siehe Videos) :-)<br><br>Von Kingman aus sind wir weiter auf der Route 66 nach Oatman gefahren...dies ist angeblich eine Ghosttown...aber das muss schon eine Weile her sein. Heute ist es eher ein Touristen-Mekka mit Souvenir-Shops und hungrigen Eseln...<br>

From the Grand Canyon we travelled through more Desert to Kingman, which is where we were joining Route 66. <br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br ><br><br><br>The evening went through to a lekka Cowboy restaurant and had a great evening enjoying some steak.

... we met at the bus for night ride back to LA which was uneventful apart from the bus getting pulled over by the Vegas police as we were leaving because Jimmy had popped his head out the drvers bunk roof hatch. Apparently she was the cutest highway cop Jimmy had seen and she must have liked him cause we got away with just a warning. I was woken at about 5am to be dropped off in Santa Monica.

Yesterday, something told me to do a name search on Facebook to see if she had a profile there. Her name and profile picture came up first. Staying a couple of days down in Bullhead City, on the Colorado River across from Laughlin, Nevada, on our way to the Phoenix area. We stayed at this park last year, and one of my favorite features is the swimming pool, which is designed with the clubhouse above it, and is in a "V" shape that reminds me of the Route 66 Motels of years gone by!
