... Nicolas and Max. Nicolas is in Lydia's class. I've started hiking with Jo, she's great company and fun to be around. We hope to see much more of them over the next few years. School has been an interesting learning curve, I don't think I'd considered how different the American language is to English. This has been very pronounced for the children due to them both being at the stage where letters and sounds are a part of their every day learning. They learn letters here ...

... Barbeque. It was pretty tasty. We then continued to walk around Westfield before heading back out into the street to explore. We stopped on the way home and got a few groceries. We had a beautiful day in sunny San Francisco. We decided to do the planned bike ride across the Golden Gate Bridge this morning. It was forecast to be very hot today so we were up and at 'em and in high spirits. So high in fact that there was a little impromptu beatbox session on the way to the bike hire place. ... we talked and played games to get to know each other. I really like the other kids. I have a good impression of everyone; they're all just a fun group. I'm super excited for us all to get to know each other better. It's 10:30 pm here, but my body thinks it's 1:30. I wonder how long it'll take for my body to adjust to the time difference in Asia.
