... the ferry to cross the bay. Beautiful day for it and the views across the bay towards Sausalito, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge were great. Also looking back as the city receded was spectacular. Lots of photos taken. The trip is quite quick, 30 minutes. Sausalito itself is a lovely town. The whole SF bay is very much like Sydney Harbour, although a bigger, more open waterway, but Sausalito feels a little like Watson's Bay, looking back over the water ...

... the lookout where we could see the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance. We walked as far as we could and took some photos before motoring on towards the city centre.

We parked near the crooked part or Lombard Street- everyone marvelling at such a crazy idea as to slow traffic on this sleep decline by creating a traffic jam/tourist attraction!

... s Cup course although we didn't get as far as the Cup Village or the Bay bridge. There was a lovely breeze and perfect conditions for a very pleasant afternoon on the water, we weren't totally under sail as it would have been too slow, so the motor helped us on our way as well.
