    When we arrived, there was a marching band practicing in a parking lot we all had to drive through. The director simply had the band march out of the way of oncoming trucks and motorhomes as we pulled up. The kids kept playing and we kept driving. It felt very surreal.

    ... had a short run into Iowa which with its tidy farms, manicured farms and gently rolling hills looked like PEI writ large.     ... we could have stayed another day to visit with them a bit more. Left on Friday morning, driving in a window of good weather to get home before it rained.     ... were over heating in our motorbike gear. We started to filter through the traffic and were told afterwards that filtering is illegal in most of America.     ... miles under our belt, we will be home a day early. I always like to have an extra day before the week begins. School starts next week. Summer is ending. Sad. What a great summer. We take the good and the bad and count our blessings. We also share our blessings. Extra prayers and blessings to those so tragically affected by the floods of 2014. The pictures are staggering.
