The lunch was elegant and delicious and served in a room with an amazing view of a watering hole where many animals came to drink. It was a fun and exciting experience ...
Glen Rose, Texas, United States judiep... was driving, but I had just as much fun sitting and swearing in the passenger seat filming video, and taking some still photos. We went up hills and rocks, then down hills and rocks, into the river, then through the river. We had a blast. We stopped and were fed halfway through the day, and then made it to the Big hill. We watched the car in front of us get stucked, and had to back up a bit to finally shoot ...

Dallas, Texas, United States bwulzMy buddy and co-worker Sang asked if he could host a going away party at his condo overlooking the Katy Trail so my friends could wish me well. What he was really asking is if I needed someplace to bring all my wine, booze, beer and food over so that everyone could drink it and I wouldn't ...
Dallas, Texas, United States bwulz... but usually only when aliens are involved... What the hell is a "sooner"??? Best missed photo-op of the day (if we didn't have a trailer behind us, Chris might have gotten it): Leaving a Walmart/Starbucks pit stop, we crawl up the on-ramp, and this puts us overlooking the Walmart parking lot... The scene unfolds slowly... (because we're moving so slowly) First we see the brand new cherry red Ford F150 ...with "chiken" spray-painted across the side of ...

Dallas, Texas, United States bwulzHave you ever looked at all your possessions and wondered how and the hell you came to have so much ****? As I start packing up my apartment, I'm shocked with how much stuff I really have...including some clothes that I swear I haven't worn since the 80's (at least I hope I haven't worn tapered acid washed jeans recently). Anyway...if you're into late 80's and 90's fashion styles...then I suggest you get your ass over to ...
Dallas, Texas, United States bwulz... after living in hostels for 13 weeks begging for my job back (and my comfy bed). Regardless, this trip will be an experience and I know I'll be a better person for having taken it. What happens after I return is still largely undecided...but it boils down to two options...go back to work...or keep on going... I'll close this first post with a dialogue from one of my favorite movies...as it's fairly relevant ...

I now understand the urge to be a grandparent so much better! Tomorrow, we are off to go shopping for clothes (and more "Thomas the Tank Engine" books. Today I bought "The Cat in the Hat" and read it to a rapt audience of one- absolutely wonderful). Blog entries should be pretty peaceful for the next few days.

If you've ever seen the cell phone commercials where they test the minutes packages by letting a teenage girl yak away as the minutes tick away-she and 3 of her friends were no more than 2 feet away for at least 2 hours.
