... share a bond that is rarely seen these days. And their message is stronger than ever - peace, one love, and freedom. I cried and cried and laughed and sang and screamed and stood in complete awe - hands over my heart, eyes closed, just letting their incredible energy wash over me.
After an awful day of work (l-o-n-g story...will the dramas never end?), I had a little of my faith in humanity ...
... best part was the "off-list" bottle of champagne Chris ordered--La Florescense Blanc de Noir Brut. It was unlike any I'd ever tasted--not too sweet, with a lot of citrus on the finish. What a treat!
We walked home, making it in time for the gun, watched a bit of TV and made it to bed by 11:00. How wonderful that we don't have to get up early tomorrow!

... daunting trip as years go by and people give up on the experience. Egypt is a once in a lifetime trip, but why wait? This year seemed as good as any so I decided to just go for it. My friend, travel agent and sometimes travel partner, Marjorie just returned from 8 months traveling the world and couldn't stop raving about how great Egypt was and how nice the people there were. This is not what ...
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada rosey... Market in the Shangri-La Hotel with my love. Had so much fun on the way over, as we were able to see "Critical Mass", a yearly event, much to the consternation of many Vacouverites, which involves around 3000 bicyclists riding en masses around the city in an effort to disrupt traffic and raise awareness for the benefits of bicycling. Unfortunately, it angers so many drivers and pedestrians that it seems to do just the opposite. All the same, it was ...
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada lisajagmin... an ebay tramp style bidding war over a slice of mangled pita bread. I noticed another sorry looking soul in a wheelchair dribbling in frustration as he struggled to get up a make shift ramp with a bottle of cheap bourbon in his lap.
For two kilometers we dodged and weaved passed heroin addicts and crack heads eyeing up our shiny bikes for there next fix. I could now see Kelly racing ahead at speeds Schumacher would ...
... xmas stools, carol singers, arts & crafts for sale and a large food market. I browsed for a while then had lunch in a nice restaurant which overlooked the bay. I then got the ferry back to Vancouver mainland and am making my way back to the main shopping streets. I saw a cinema earlier so I might go back there and check out what's on, and I saw some cool gloves in Urban Outfitters that I will get if the long ...
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada lucyb1983uk... about plans is that they are extremely flexible, bendable unlike humans I've learned. The original plan was Barkerville and we all know that changed rather quickly and i ended where i was supposed to be in Wells. I am very grateful to have had the experience of living and being involved in a very active arts community. My job as a room cleaner I've decided is a one time shot,i see no room for career advancement.Living in a very small remote community certainly has ...
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada creativejourney... We only had a tiny bit of rain in Ketichan, then it cleared and the sun came out! Was cold, but not absolutely freezing, except when we were on the deck of the ship or when we were on the deck of the catarmaran on the tour. We were glad we have such a variety of clothing...have pretty much worn everything and bought more clothes! Anyway, I'll stop rambling on now!! Will update you from sunny Hawaii! Cheers Amanda and Malcolm
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ameehan... real experience of ice hockey has been through Champions and the Mighty Ducks films so needless to say I know **** ALL! Atmos was awesome and it only took about 5 mins before I was yelling my ass of and jumping around (God bless the giant foam hand!). Vancouver is a beautiful city and is amazing place to fly into. I love and will never get sick of living in a city surrounded by snowcapped ...
