Wow, wow, wow - what a way to end our journey! It was up bright and early to get to the Aquarium at opening time (courtesy of our lovely London cab again). Vancouver Aquarium, set in Stanley Park, is run as a for non-profit organisation and places huge emphasis on research and conservation. It has a fantastic set-up and really is a great day out. …

I have to say we lingered for some time over breakfast as we had a fab table on the balcony, so we just sipped our coffees and …

My feet didn't hurt, but my shins and hamstrings were definitely protesting the number of steps. So the idea of a bus ride up to Whistler started to sound better every time I thought about it.

That morning I was able to get a …

As usual, the first day of traveling is a very long day. It started with me exiting and then re-entering my garage and my house to collect things that I'd forgotten and ends with me thousands of miles away...relaxing in a restful setting. I picked a good place. Or Orbitz did anyway. I just wanted someplace nice. It's got the same kind of vibe that …
