    ... that a classic car show was in town for the day & when we got back into town there were plenty of automotive classics about.

    Where to then? Well we are in Scotland we had better go & see something on William Wallace. So through closed ski fields we wind down single lanes, past old castles & onto a freeway that leads to Sterling, the site of the William Wallace monument. The Monument is perched up on top of a hill in the middle of a valley & over looks ...

    ... up wandering around without a cent in my pockets, which was immensely reassuring. I also treated myself to the best plate of scrambled egg and toast I have ever had from one of the airport restaurants. I had no idea at the time whether ot not 11.50AUD was a good price for such a thing, but at that point I didn't care that much. Turns out that wasn't the best deal in the world, so I may not bother with them next time...!

    ... a short visit. I am so looking forward to seeing them and catching up on the news. Even though we Skype, there is nothing like spending time in the presence of people that are special to you. It has been a very long time since we have seen each other in person. This trip has been especially meaningful in that I have spent time with people I love; that is why I came and, even though the rest has been fun, that is what makes the trip important for me to have done.
