campsite a bit disappointing compared with what we have been at on our travels so far. Not overly friendly, seems more focussed towards French clientele. The surrounds and scenery are beautiful, mountains as far as can be seen. Must be excellent for winter ski season too. Hot still. Summer has certainly hit! ...

Faucogney is in a National Parc Regional Des Ballons Des Vosges. Great area is south west corner of Vosges. Haute -Saone. Aire. Brilliant and purpose built for 4 vans by the sports fields a short walk from Centre Ville. Services perfect for 2€ the quietest Aire to spend a few days. Really like this place. This is a very interesting village. Oh my word. I didn't expect to see anything quite like this little hamlet. The clock has stopped it seems after the Second World War. ...

It turns out we have quite a lot of wine, so we get started on it: a C******nay, and then my rosé, with the pork medallions and baked potatoes and baked eggplant and capsicum. Petits fours and coffee to finish. ...

... station. We start with my last breakfast at the Royal Harbour, which has turned on delightful breakfasts: fresh fruits (raspberries, strawberries, blueberries etc) and yoghurts, carved ham, smoked salmon, and freshly made English breakfast variations: scrambled eggs, great sausages and wonderful bacon etc.... I have to take a measured approach each morning...but always enjoy the fruit and yoghurt options. Then drag the bag down 3 flights of stairs to catch the Loop bus to ...
