I picked Restauracija Kotlar for dinner because getting
there involved the shortest period of drenching and found another great
reasonably priced meal with incredibly friendly service. I went for a standard

Slovenia has only 16 miles of coastline, not much compared to Croatia's thousands of miles of coast when you include all of its islands and peninsulas. It was pouring rain when we arrived at the castle so external photography was difficult. While the interior tour was interesting, there is nothing but a series of empty rooms. Even the armoury had been looted so there was little to see.
