    ... are listed on the UNESCO Heritage sites and features vast underground canyons through which the Reka river runs. Apparently, people have lived in the caves from Prehistoric ages. It was a really wonderful experience walking through the many chambers in the eerie darkness. I half expected Gollum to jump out at me. Unfortunately no photography was allowed but I guess the best images are the ones etched in your mind.

    ... a bro!).

    We decide to wait to venture out as it is stinking hot, so we take the opportunity to hang out the washing and have a rest. Over an hour later the buzzer goes and there is Scott, milk and teabags in tow looking slightly annoyed. It turns out he walked for ages to find a shop and the heat had really done him in. Lucky for him he now has time for a rest! (Thanks Scott)

    ... off to find a restaurant and eventually settled on Japanese, of all things! The food was plentiful and excellent. Best meal I've had in quite a while! After dinner we walked down to what is billed as "the largest town square in Europe ". Admittedly it's pretty big. Very impressive! Lit up of an evening it looks fabulous.     ... the door by 11 this evening and we won't see it again until we disembark. Then we will identify and move with our luggage through customs before parting with it again.     Beautiful sunshine greeted us for our first real day of the holiday.We had a long drive to venice as our sat nav had decided to avoid toll roads and took us through the back streets but eventually Ben showed his technological superiority over me and sorted it out.Then Rami did what he loves and can't do in Australia - drove at 130 kph (and more) legally.I am continually amazed how fast these cars drive here and how close.A tiny fiat 500 passed ...
