... coming back up, The ferry ride I took only actually took us to one of the villages - Vernazza and then onto Portovenere, a little more of a commercial village south of the Cinque Terre where we spent about 3 hours. The ride from Rapollo was about 2 hours down so I am always happy on the water. Just the scenery was so mesmerizing and so different than home.
