... unreal, sun is fierce and not a breath of wind. Afternoons on the balcony are the order of the day, listening to all the birds shouting at each other and arguing over bread dropped on the floor at the cafe by the lake.
Only downside is having to wait until 7 till the restaurants open. Not easy for two gluttons like us. Had a rubbish meal first night too which is enough to put us in a bad mood for about a week. Italy almost done. ...

... it's the point of borrowing these books hey! I took the book outside and for the first time in Italy, I baked. the sun is beautiful!!!

We then went to have a gelatooooo!!! This time I tried cheesecake and Baci! The best thing is I can have 2 flavours in the smallest cup! Italy 1 - Australia 0

Then, for the first time ever, I went and had a pedicure and also a manicure! My feet and hands have never been so soft and so pretty! :D ...

As you might guess, hotel prices are pretty steep here, so ours is kind of in the middle of nowhere :( It's a nice hotel (good ole DoubleTree) but limits us a bit based on the location. Looks like we're just going to be relaxing at the hotel tonight. We'll tour Milan in the morning, then we plan to go to Lake Como. daVinci's "The Last Supper" is on display here, but you have to have a reservation and apparently they sell out weeks in advance, and ...
