... the mountains again. Quite a show.

After lunch we pushed on to Verona where we had front row seats to watch a production of Carmen in the outdoor Roman amphitheatre. The location was fabulous and it was so nice to see the old ruin being put to such a beautiful use unlike the roman amphitheatre in Rome. We had dinner beforehand in the square opposite the amphitheatre and the weather was warm and balmy (not raining here thank goodness). The front row ...

All extremely jet-lagged and crammed into our Renault with the fourth child (Steve's bike) we hit the AUtostrasse. The AUtostrasse is like a living organism it flows and moves on its own with speed and purpose. Our first stop... Bergamo, Italy. Bergamo is 40km from Milan and is a beautiful city. Bergamo has three regions and we stayed in a B&B with ...

... desk jock at the Post office who made me feel about 2 inches tall because I hadn’t filled out the forms and to stop wasting his time until it was complete. I tried to explain that I was from Australia and had no idea what to do…but that seemed to make him more angry. So I left with a new address to go and get this done. Until 10.00 Mary and I went three different places trying to get this done….no such luck. We got to E & A ...
