Our entire last few days has consisted of napping, eating and swimming.

Not much to say really, except I dreamed Laura was possessed. That freaked me out.

I found the playsuit (macacinho) today that I wanted. The store gave me a matching ring.

Our entire existence here consists of the 20 metres from our room to the beach - which passes by the restaurant/bar. Its a tough life.....

We are in love with the nachos, really just dip (guac and salsa) and fried chips. Beer is good. Pina Colada is better.

... and invited us back to visit their home. The kids played with Nicole and the grown-ups fumbled around conversation and enjoyed drinks. Nicole is about six and is very funny and bossy, as is the way with many girls her age. She really seemed to enjoy having some kids to play with and teach some Spanish at her "escuela."

... more action than our nearly deserted beach of the day before. We made arrangements for Kate to take surfing lessons tomorrow morning from a guy named Choco. The boys and Mike will rent boogie boards and mess around in the waves. Mom will take pictures from the shade and evaluate the abs of the local surfing pros. That's the plan.

... Paula in Denver, Colorado. Jim treated us to opening day at the Rockies. Thanks Jim!!! The Diamondbacks beat us by one point on a wild pitch, but a great time was had by all. Fred and I are back home now. To our delight we found that our garden greens had grown enough while we were on vacation, to have a salad for dinner. - Well, back to work and until next time, we hope you enjoyed our Costa Rican vacation blog!)
