Overton, England, United Kingdom chiangmaigregWe headed back into Liverpool today and to an enormous park. It is called Sefton Park. In Sefton Park there is a boating lake, a Victorian glass house (The Palm House), a bronzed statue of Peter Pan, a ...

Overton, England, United Kingdom chiangmaigreg... Poms being booed off the field. The Poms came back in the second half with a flourish but other than for about 10 minutes the result was never in doubt , with the final result 26 - 16.

Wigan looks very much like a struggle town with a lot of boarded up shops and houses. You understand why League is a minor sport because all the names we associate with English league (St Helens, Warrington, Leeds) are all around this area ...
Wigan, England, United Kingdom pollies... for a few strolls with Marissa around Dublin and checked out the city centre and Trinity College, got a photo next to statue of the Tart on a Cart (Molly Malone), meandered down Temple Bar and basically had a good old lazy time of it. One of our more notable outings was with Anto when we went for a pint of the Best Guinness In Dublin at a pub that could only be described as "seriously out of the way". Stepping through the front door, was like looking back 100 or a 150 years, the only ...

I know people reading this who don't have a passion for a specific sporting team wont understand me and even people that do and aren't fanatic may have trouble. I'll start with a quick run down of my Liverpool love. LFC or Liverpool Football Club was the only choice for me when it came to picking a team. They had Harry Kewell and most importantly a fantastic style of play. I was 12 at the time and to be honest ...

Liverpool, United Kingdom laurab19... located just off of Stanley Park and a stones throw away from Goodison Park, home of their city rivals Everton--it will never cease to amaze me how close they build football stadiums to each other in England. And I was on hand to watch the 203rd Merseyside derby ('dar-bee', a matched played by city rivals), to be won in spirited fashion by Liverpool. Listening to the Kop sing "You'll Never Walk ...
Liverpool, United Kingdom soohyung... so perhaps I needn’t be so dismissive. Just because a bogan like me can identify with something doesn’t mean it can’t also be regarded as ‘culture’ by the more refined set. So while Ali headed out to Albert Dock for the Beatles Story museum, I took off for Anfield Road.

Liverpool Football Club: A soccer club of monumental proportions, massively successful in English and European competitions, a now glamorous ...
Liverpool, England, United Kingdom troywilkinsonGreeted by my parents and Nana, we piled into the car back home to Warry. And so all thats left is a little summary of our jolly jaunt around the Northern and Western section of Europe.
