W Czarnogorze deszcz, w drodze serpentynami gorskimi - zaskoczenie: wyzsze lancuchy gorskie na horyzoncie przysypane sniegiem! Zima? W nasze LETNIE wakacje?!
Zgroza!
Widac to zreszta po nas - zakapturzone... skulone " turysty" na chorwackiej drodze, potem juz autostradzie.
I to chyba ostatnie "turysty" tego lata :)) Za to komfort jazdy wspanialy - wszystkie ...
Zadar, Zadarska, Croatia matti5d... to take my chances today. I still had last night's used ticket so I validated the other end of it and tried to smear out the old ink with some good old fashioned spit and some thumb grease. Let's just say the outcome was obvious tampering.

And also why is it that after 8pm one bus will connect where I stayed to the airport but during the day it requires two buses via the train station? Wouldn't the powers that be want the easier one bus journey for ...

Zadar, Croatia rampantredhead...

Zadar, Croatia artoftravel... opened my eyes to a few things. I also tried to figure out my timeline for the Middle East. I want to be in India by the 3rd week of Novenmber so this should give me 3 months to go overland from Turkey to Egypt. I think this wont be enough time as 4 would be ideal. Initially, I wanted to be in India by the first week of November so I could have time to go to Nepal. I no longer think this will be possible. I dont want to rush through the Middle East just so I could see ...
Pag, Croatia dinovagabond... I then headed back to the center of the island. I took a bus back and stopped at te grocery store close to my accomodations as I wanted to get something to drink. However, while there I saw this nice juicy looking watermelon that I just had to have. I wanted to just buy a quarter of it but the best they could do for e is sell me half a watermelon. So I walked back to my place with this great looking melon and had a bit of a feast once I settled in ...
Pag, Croatia dinovagabond... Africa. When I was planning my trip, I wanted to spend 4-5 weeks in a relaxed atmosphere in between my journeys through Africa and the Middle East. Croatia is definitely relaxing but too much relaxing just makes me a little stir crazy (and I tend to eat a lot more when I am not doing anything and this isnt good). It is too calm here and I am ready for a bit of a storm. I decided to set a date for my arrival in Istanbul. It will be August 15. My friend ...
Pag, Island of Pag, Croatia dinovagabond... to be abandoned. From the bus you could see the international signs of a skull "do not enter, land mines". Here in Zadar they have been invaded for centuries. The most damage came during WWII followed by the Serbian conflict. I read there were 72 direct bombings. Zadar has rebuilt itself again and it still has its mideaval character. The streets are literally paved with marble. Tomorrow i am off to Sibenik about 1.5 hrs from here. So until then. Dober Dan (good day) Chuck
Zadar, Croatia chuckh... were absolutely hopeless, the two of us together just couldn't make the kayak go forward. We just couldn't time it properly together which of course caused a few arguments and insults about who was more uncoordinated than the other. At one stage we had lost all control and started to drift towards a naked hippy looking sunbather guy. We tried our hardest to direct the kayak the ...
