      ... promptly and 8 x rays later it turns out ....no break or fracture. Phew. Breathe big sigh of relief. We were forced to take a long hot shower by the doctor in the hospital who gave us fresh towels and chlorhexidine to scrub with. The staff were lovely and we have promised to send them a photo when we make it to the Mexico border. We then decided it was time to chill our now clean little boots in Fernie for a day or so.       The snowmobiles were doubles so we all got to drive and the best way to describe it is ,blasting along on a quad bike that has a really bad case of understeer..You turn the handle bars and the count to 10 before it decides to turn and the one we had was turbo charged – can't wait for a straight bit and there were lots.

      We headed out into the back country along the trails which we had all to ourselves other than a few cross country skiers ...

      Well its finally starting to get really cold. In fact its that cold that BOTH Ben and I are wearing thermals now! Ben only has his thermal top where I have top and bottoms and thick socks! Haha.
