... and, although I don’t know if I get great bargains, I feel I get fair value prices. I got a new purse (Chinese brand), a mini-speaker, a wallet, and sunglasses. ... Once the stock sale starts people can't seem to get at them fast enough. It seems within minutes the shelves are picked clean. I turn the corner in an attempt to escape the madness and I am confronted with the hoards descending on a tea exhibitor. Like the candy booths the vultures have picked it clean within minutes.

... milk tea for each student! A lot of kids (120 of them) signed up for a Kids Night Out after school that they paid to attend. Teachers handed out treat from their classrooms as the older kids brought them around in groups. Kids here don’t trick or treat because everyone lives in apartments. The school had brought in treats from the US (little chocolate bars) with a stern warning to the teachers NOT to eat the treats because they had been counted and ...

Halloween Night

Autumn is now in full swing - trees leaves are changing colour, and we get several days/nights in a row where the temp drops to low-mid 20's, then it goes back up to high 20's-early 30's. the intense heat has gone, as has most of the humidity, so its rather nice. Long may it continue!
