The forecast said rain in the afternoon but it was raining heavily and looked set in for the day, so we decided this would not be fun and so we stayed put for another day. We have jobs to do that we keep putting off so an ideal opportunity to get them done. Isi sorted out the food cupboards and put things back in the right places as they always get mixed up when others are on board plus checked if we needed ...

Leonie has a virus so Maurice stayed for dinner before taking her ...

Deer were outside in the rain. I stepped into the rabbit cage, picked one up, cuddled it, and put it back. Then the lady walked in and Papa asked if we could pick them up. She said no sorry you can't pick them up. Papa and I looked ...

... with a rather large green buoy a couple of feet from the door! John as ever the dinghy sailor, but had forgotten about the tide. (she says)

We came through the Krammersluis from the Oosterschelde (salt water) and on to the Volkerak (fresh water). The lock took 20 minutes and somehow it converts the salt water into fresh water before it lets us out so as cross contamination does not take place. We must look up how it does ...
