... GPS and all the manuals were in German! Finally got the rental guy to explain that the GPS was run by remote control and off we went. We got to the hotel pretty early and since the room wasn't ready, decided to explore the town. Our hotel proprietor gave us a map with several sights and restaurant recommendations. I think our jet lag started to catch up to us because for some reason getting our bearings ...

After just about 4 and half months in Asia we've moved on. We just arrived in Frankfurt after a 12 hour flight from Hanoi and in an hour or so, we take a 4 hour train to Berlin and officially start the next leg of our trip. It's bittersweet as we're excited about Europe, but we're definitely sad to leave Asia behind.

    Along with some of ...
