    We left our hotel at 8 am this morning and drove to the Bridge at Remagen. We ran into some traffic, but arrived shortly after 11. We saw what was left of the bridge and also went inside one of the towers to the Peace Museum.     ... BO - some people do not shower enough. Like: bike paths and walking paths everywhere. Dislike: beds - two separate mattresses, not long enough for 6'3" people and separate blankets that come off easily. Like: walking to the bakery in the morning for fresh rolls and pretzels.   • There was a huge market there so we wandered through and looked around. The guys sat down on the grass as they were feeling a bit rough from the night before. I went to the arts museum which is meant to be the best in Frankfurt. It was pretty impressive and there were Picassos and Rembrants on display.

    ... is at the very far end of a series of bays inland from the ocean. It is right on the ocean, technically, but it is literally surrounded on all four sides by mountains.
