... the guidebooks but it is quite pretty in its alleyways and the river provides a focus. We strolled along the riverside towards a wharf where you can catch a ferry to the other side for the princely sum of half a yuan (about 7 cents) or to the university, which is a ten minutes ride upstream for 1 yuan. ... shoes, jewellery, toys, shop fittings etc at bargain prices but also the large complex Binbin Plaza for high end fashion.. Paris couture, furs (animals did die for) cosmetcs etc etc. The fashions were modern, well cut and a fraction of the cost Miss Paree etc would be paying.. This city is still amazing me with it's wares...
Nightfall without haze was another bonus.. even the moon made an appearance.. the view from my room enticed me for another ...
