      ... Very idyllic but unfortunately for us is the situation very different. A somewhat warm and muggy hotel room. Our own decision of course as we do have air conditioning, however, is switched off for Qiang's benefit. He is not used to it and we want to spare him any additional discomfort. On the table a couple of cans of lager(written in Chinese..no idea what) getting warm. And in the background no whooshing of the waves, but the endless cacophony of car horns. ...

      ... of any kind. All of a sudden we were standing face to facewith our little boy. One of the public officers pointed to Qiang and then tous. He nodded and that was it... the transfer. Cold and lacking emotion. Martijnquickly grabbed the camera to try and capture something of the moment.
      Qiang was tucking into a packet of crisps to his heart's content. He was quiet and very amused..What do you in a moment like this? and what do you say "Hello... we are your new mummy ...

Given the poor conditions we skipped climbing a number of the peaks as there really would have been no view at all, which on the plus side saved our legs from at least 1000 more steps!       ... my closet and put up my winter clothes and got out my spring/summer clothes. But, alas, winter decided to turn around and wave goodbye, apparently, as it is now back down around 40 degrees. I'm just going to tough it out with my light windbreaker jacket because I don't want to get out my winter clothes again. I prefer winter anyway, so it wont be too bad for me.
