... airport for my 1.40pm flight to Nairobi. I was only staying a 10 minute drive away. This time, no 15 hour delay - we left right on time! It took just 3.5 hours to fly the distance it has taken the last 5 weeks to drive.

Back to the beginning, as we came into land into Nairobi, skimming over Nairobi National Park, I saw my last herd of impala! I had a 5 hour wait in Nairobi airport - one of the most boring airports! I was in luck for my 9 hour flight to London - 3 whole seats to ...

... the outside loo, (i have seen them before), it was the fact that the dog had decided to have puppies right next to the toilet and every time you went to the loo the dog would growl the whole time, very off putting when all you hear is a growling dog and cannot see it whilst doing your business.

Anyway that finishes off my stay in Benoni, now heading off to the game reserve for three weeks.

... came on the way home. The traffic was horrible - stop and go for over an hour. We left a bit before 12 and when we stopped at a rest stop at 230 we still had 1 1/2 hours to go. We got into joburg at 4am. He stopped at park station (the train st we had been at earlier) so we decided it was our best place to find a cab home. There were so many people waiting for a cab and maybe a cab every 10 mins but we found someone with a number to a cab company so ...
