... for the first night were at a very nice lodge with tastefully decorated rooms with thatched roofs surrounded by serene fountains in a courtyard, including decorative bridges and benches a mini-pool and tiny monkeys playing in the trees. I had an entire room to myself including an ensuite bathroom, a towel, soap and shampoo! What a luxury! ... the outside loo, (i have seen them before), it was the fact that the dog had decided to have puppies right next to the toilet and every time you went to the loo the dog would growl the whole time, very off putting when all you hear is a growling dog and cannot see it whilst doing your business.

Anyway that finishes off my stay in Benoni, now heading off to the game reserve for three weeks.

Monday 16th May Lazy day again. Wrote some journal (5 days) though still 3 weeks behind. Read, typed, cleaned house and played with Tracy. Jean got home round 7pm and we scooped up a bottle of wine and 2 books that she'd finished and headed out to supper club masquerading as book club!
