There are things that concern me--the overpopulation, the sprawl... the over-dependance in tourism...But it does seem to be a country that is really trying to make things better for its citizens. 2 hrs, 4 kms From the beach I follow a long shadeless road inland. There are houses all along the way interspersed with empty lots. The whole area feels very poorly planned with houses being built randomly across the countryside, rather than clustered together into towns. The photos are from my round of golf today. The Golf Pirates would run out and steal your golf ball depending on their mood and how close they were to the jungle. Some have learned that a golf cart may mean "Free Lunch".
