We flew from Southend airport to Erquy yesterday. Les dropped us off, which was so nice of him. It was a very easy trip. Marion and Myriam were at the airport to greet us, it was such a fantastic feeling to see them. We drove straight to Erquy where Myriam made us a tuna salad for lunch. took the Brittany ferry overnight from Cork, Ireland overnight to Roscoff, France . Fascinating seaside town . Gothic architecture early 16th century. Rainy day but we didn't mind it. Tonight we are in Saint Carreuc

... As we still felt a bit tired after the journey, we decided to have a day visiting nearby local towns. We started at Loudeac, a pleasant small town about 20mins away. The alarm went off at 3.30am and we quickly completed the final bit of packing before Rose woke. One piece of luggage is Rose's Elsa build-a-bear, who also (according to her owner) needs to travel with her own particular bed sheet "in case she gets cold in France".
