... the centre with Bee using a long pole to propel. Unfortunately there was strong wing blowing and we ended up crashing to other rafts further down the lake. ... it was brand new, very clean, huge room, modern and came with free breakfast. The problem with the hotel was that it was in a much quieter area of Chiang Rai, there was nothing really around including places to eat. I had arrived late in the afternoon so all I planned to do was relax in my room and do some washing. For dinner that night I went to a little local place across the road and called it a night early as I was being picked up at 8:30 the next morning.

... loads of sculptures, it looked heavenly until you get up close and see the reaching hands which represent hell (was creepy but that's why we like it so much). We made a wish and put it on the wish tree with all the others, there were thousands. ... Italian dish in Thailand! Massive disappointment as it didn't taste anywhere near as good and it's only made me miss my Dads cooking even more!
