Traumatized by the prior days events, we woke in our mansion cabin to the beautiful sounds of nature. I could tell this was going to be another good day. Today was comprised of activities appropriate for our cabin stay. It started off with our traditional breakfast of little smokies and eggs. Ooh so good. There was almost an air of excitement between Alex and I share as the little smoky aroma filled the cabin. Little ...

Sunday we left Ballston Spa, we had an easy first driving day with only 4 hours. And to make it even easier we stopped in Syracuse to see Nora, Kevin and fam! We had a great lunch and visit! After lunch the kids ran off to play, they all seemed to really enjoy each other and just played non stop! We even got to watch a "show" complete with tickets! ...

... service for both churches in Scottsville with a joint choir of 20 and over 90 friends who came to join us for this one last time together. The service, entitled "The Ending of a Pastoral Relationship" was touching and so meaningful. The music tore at the heart strings from beginning to end. Janet, our fearless organist and choir director outdid herself in guiding this dedicated group of chorusters who sang every last note from their hearts. It truly touched ours.
