... which was showing as negative!! Needless to say I thought the parking was perfect. However I managed to cross another boats anchor so the boat owner re parked it. One of the other boats grounded!! Eventually we were all moored safety and the job of packing commenced. All sorts of nooks and crannys exist on a boat and we had used them all. Some I had forgotten about!! Again we took too many clothes. Note to self. Pack much less next ...

... involved in some way. Dinner was the usual Greek fare, delicious as ever. Amazingly Bethany and Tilly bumped into a school friend who just happened to be on a yacht with her parents. Off they went swimming!! Briefing was held the following morning and much to everybody's disappointment our trip to a deserted bay was off. Too much wind was forecast from the north which was the opening direction of the bay. So. Plan B was to sail up to a series of deserted bays, lunch ...

Well. Where to start. After a good sail to Skopelos town we were confined to port as we had very high winds forecast. The town is not a bad place to be storm bound. After a bit of shopping we sent Claire and Sam off with Tilly and Bethany to a beach. Richard and Ed wanted to hire scooters. I did not think that scooters were a great plan. I don't like them.

Friday was scheduled for us to pick up the boat and meet all the children. Firstly however we simply HAD to visit the Mama Mia church on the rock. Our amiable host Antonio took us in his car to see the monastery. Quite a walk up to it, and a very steep walk back down. Jules is not good with heights at all.
