Today we went into town to buy some food and bumped into Panyota who does the gardening where we are staying, she is a lovely Greek lady who speaks good English. We some how got chatting about mushrooms and she offered to take us foraging sometime. Well there is no time like the present so we hired a car and off we went to forage.

... time outside which is probably why I have been a little lazy on the blog. We are all well and have hired a car again to see more of the island, there is a beach called Kokinacastra which is pretty special. We have been eating well and are planning on hiring a car once a week to do a big shop and see different parts of the island each week.

This is the only true sandy beach on the Island and the kids and Cassie had a whale of a time running up and down the beach. I was on ball throwing duty and the kids were racing Cassie, it was a close contest as to who was going to run out of energy first. ... seems to be the case on most beaches we have been to. We then headed north to the end of the road which stops at Glossa, you take a sharp right then hit the road from hell, after some white knuckles a rather sweaty wife and some nail biting you make it to the beautiful church on the rock where the wedding was.
