... onto the 260. This is such a great road and its Sunday, theres no-one around. Through Campo then right on the 260 to Ainsa to a very nice Hotel for €45. Huge thunder storm this evening. Brilliant, just hope it passes by the morning.


YUP IT PASSED. 3rd November. West and north on the N260, then north on the A136 into the Pyrenees. While cold today, it has been a great day riding. The N260 covers about 700kms, and we have covered most ...

... Jams, chutneys, sloe gin, harvesting of pumpkins, Tarbais beans, butternut squash and beetroot is done. ... if you wanted. There were so many religious shops selling everything religious you can think of right next to each other. There would have had to be about 100 of them in Lourdes. We also saw so many priests and nuns in full outfits strolling around. Prayers, masses, rosary and confession go all day every day. You can buy candles that are 2m high to put at the alters. Day Six: Argeles to St Pierre de Pont. 150km, 3350m of ascent.
