Today's theme song - "We are Sailing" a leisurely morning repacking and sitting around waiting for our taxi arrived at our departure point. Embarkation was supposedly 1pm but in true Italian organisational style at 1.45pm the embarkation point was a huge barn like structure with people sitting and standing around like a cross between a doctors waiting room and a disaster relief centre. As it turns out we had a slight change of heart realising how far the drive to Hannover could be, so we headed to Falsterbo and its white sandy beaches for a couple of nights, and we picked up mascot number 2 on the way - Bjorn the Moose.

Today was the day to research the Petersen family who were from Maribo 150 years ago. Before we headed out for the day we were treated to an amazing breakfast, so much for keeping trim before the cruise!! Our host also provided Ken with the office to go to for researching his family tree. We headed to Maribo, a lovely village and went for a walk around, finding the street where the family were living ...
