      ... to go and find some of the recommendations in Skane that we had been given the previous evening.

      As it turns out we had a slight change of heart realising how far the drive to Hannover could be, so we headed to Falsterbo and its white sandy beaches for a couple of nights, and we picked up mascot number 2 on the way - Bjorn the Moose.

      Wandered down to the beach for a family dip in the evening, avoiding the jelly fish as we went. Beautiful.

      ... and warm to hot day. The city was a good size for me with around 1.2 million people. The town hall was huge and provided free wireless and even free clean toilets. So caught up on some work on the email front. Nearby were lovely buildings and a waterfront with a big market, Salamanca style. Full of reasonable locally made souvenirs and food stalls selling BBQ reindeer and creamy salmon soup. I couldn't eat Rudolph and it was way too hot for soup. We ...

      ... little enclave of colourful buildings in a stone-paved courtyard off the road. Finally dinner in the same little town in a favorite (and unusual) restaurant of Ruth and Steffen's.       ... of the waves of the clear water and with swans busy feeding just offshore. Very nice and we would have walked longer but the clouds were looking threatening and indeed, by the time we left the shop back in the village it was bucketing down and we got somewhat wet. I wasn't able to run as I was carrying 48 cans of pilsener, it’s cheaper here that in Sweden!
