    ... 8211;
    turns out it was 90 degrees off and out of the door on the concourse – staff didn’t
    seem to think that was a problem. Had I known (I should have guessed) how
    expensive left luggage would be (5 for a locker) and the fact there were no
    direct buses to the historic centre – all seemed to go via urban terminals east

    New place new friends. Fortaleza was cool because right when I got there we went out. Some Chileans brought a big bottle of pisco and before you know it we all were riding happy on the way to pink elephant. It's a popular expensive night club they have here in Brazil. Anyways the next several days it was pretty much the same. Fortaleza to me seems a little rough and unsafe. I'll admit I had a good time here and my portuguese is getting ...

    ... out loud whether
    this was how plugging the holes in the dyke with fingers started, regardless funkiness with water made the difference on this day. The temperature rising into the high 30’s was clearly a factor and forced the poor saps sitting in the midday sun to squeeze into the shaded areas behind the seats to seek respite from the brutal heat. On this day the Dutch started with uncharacteristic
    caution turning out in a very defensive formation with ...

    ... the increased temperature. It was the hottest we'd felt it so far in Brazil. The other thing I remember was the severe lack of signs... Which didn't help for finding the bus out to the stadium, which is out of town. The third il come back to. After asking a few police officers, fifa volunteers, and sweating buckets we finally boarded a departing bus, and joined in singing with 2 very noisy, and good spirited, Ghanaian fans. The Germany and Ghanaian chants ...
