Mary, Shelley & Dan arrived in Lindos Friday afternoon and settled into Mary's beautiful home, aka The Museum. After a slow morning regrouping from our road trip, we headed to the main beach, which is paved with sun beds all summer but comparatively deserted now. I took the bus back to Rhodes town today where I was to then find my way to my couch surfing hosts Larissa and Victors house in ialisos the coach however had a small issue with the doors where I was sitting. It seemed that there was an air lock or bubble and as we sped down the dual carriageway they kept opening and closing on their own. Wednesday. First stop Mykonos. A classic blue and white town with narrow streets and alleys. Typical Mediterranean waterfront with dozens of cafes with patios. Drinking coffee or beer appears to be a national pastime. So we joined in! Alleyways off every street, but easy to get your bearings - just head for the water. Clean, with very friendly people.
