Like the majority of accomodation places on the island the main office was on the beach front and the chalets rested either side facing the still water, ivory sand and within sight of the bar within the resort. Perfect people watching spot (ahem perfect tottie watching spot!).

Of course before embarking on a room we made sure that AC facilities were available. ...

It was far more complicated than I thought and after half hour of standing still I thought I might pass out as blood pooled in my legs. ... me. Two K in that heat is a bit different to two K in Scotland or Luxembourg.

Once I was checked in, it was time for a shower, I can only imagine how bad I must've smelled. Then I headed into town to have a wander and get my bearings - if you've been to Kuah, you'll know that this takes about 10 minutes. I'd managed to find the straitened place on the hedonistic island - this is the place you go to for cheap drink and duty free shopping I ...
