... Slovenia the country it is today. That night we went to the coast, Piran. It was really cool once we climbed up to the top of the hill we were able to see the entire city along with Croatia and the boot of Italy! It was so neat.
We explored the city, visiting the various shops, and headed back to a new hotel on the coast because it was more convenient than going all the way back to the city. We were suppose to go to the salt fields but we ran out of time. ...
Bovec rafting

Once finished we transferred back to Bovec and then began our drive towards Kranjska Gora. Whilst in the Soca Valley we stopped at a few bridges to observe some different sections of the beautiful river. We then chilled out for a bit on top of the world at Vrsic before making it back to our room. Both pretty shattered we decided on another picnic dinner (also because we probably couldnt stomach another pizza!) and a relaxed evening.

Caves n coast
... is the 'Human Fish' or proteum. This little creature is very weird looking, kind of see through and looks a bit like a baby dragon (which is what they used to believe it was) or a snake sort of thing with little legs. Around 30cm long, its blind and the only European vertebrate living exclusively underground.

Cruise Blog 1
... rather vague directions we actually managed to find our hotel for the night! or so we thought.... turns out that there was a 'gas leak' which meant all the first floor rooms were uninhabitable, I would have thought that gas isn't considered enough to only stay on one floor and that maybe the whole hotel should be empty, but what would i know! We think it might have been a case of double booking and we got shifted, it didnt matter in the end really as we were directed down ...
Bad and Breakfast
... in then on we go with Mauricio and Bepi because the family are waiting on our arrival. Again, we are very warmly welcomed and they are very happy to have Paul back again. Maurico's wife, Etsia is there and their son Enrico (who speaks English), his girlfriend Lisa and Bepi' s wife Carla. Mauricio and Etsia's other son is Bruno, but he can't be here tonight and we will catch up with him tomorrow. They feed us and the talk is non-stop, even though we don't understand a lot of it. ...
