... our walk to the Lighthouse. Nice 9 mile walk to the trig point and light house. Found geocache at the end and celebrated with a birthday beer! Christine and Malcolm picked us up and we went wine tasting at sunset. Then took taxi into Fira for a meal walking back around ...
Perfect weather, the sun on our skin and the wind in our hair - we're making the most of the quad bike today; cruising around Santorini.
We took a drive to check out the Black beaches ; Perissa and Perivolas. Perissa is quieter with more couples and families, the beach has very fine black pebbles - we hired the sunbeds with the straw umbrella, basked in the sun and enjoyed a refreshing drink. Then we ...

The hype of Santorini suddenly all made sense. Staying in a hotel in the main part of Oia is definitely very nice even with the hundreds of steps if money isn't an issue. A very nice day.
