... the man we would buy some of each of the flavours and before we knew it he had stuffed a box full to the max. It was cheap and delicious so we didn't mind.
We spent 8.5 hours on a bus getting to Side. We read it was one of the smaller tourist towns but still naturally beautiful. The long bus ride was fine. ... Belkin) Bridge over the Köprüçay was constructed on the remains of Roman bridge from 1219 to 1236 and the restored from 1996 to 1998. ... it was actually some Turkish loo paper and not a fish at all.
As she said later, " you would have thought that as we aren't allowed to put loo paper in the loo, they would have provided a bin with a lid..." But I think that counts as advanced thinking.

The boats all moored at the entrance of the Manavgat river, where it meets the Mediterranean. On all the tourist photos, this looks like a glorious, deserted, sandy isthmus, with creamy turquoise green river on ...

So...leaving Konya...the calm Turkish city.

We liked Konya as far as a big..not Hugh...but big Turkish city goes...THIS one did not have that chaotic feel to it. I made the mistake of thinking the Dervishes were whirling nightly. NOT. Darn! I am very saddened that I will miss the Dervish here. I guess this just means it will always be calling me back. In spite of the inland pervasive pollution...I do love this country. I am slowly getting a better understanding of it and it's people. I ...
