... 10.10 MYR and I had a bowl of laksa for 5 MYR, so it came up to be less than $5.70.

To those who enjoy going to City Square Mall for your regular shopping, I beg to differ. I found the prices relatively more expensive than other malls and the shops are mainly chain stores you can also find in Singapore. The only few plus points is that they are usually slightly cheaper due to exchange rate, and there are some nice Nyonya Kuey stalls at the exit to the Immigration Building.

Dinner last night was OK but not up to the standards of a true Gala Evening. The Captain preceded the evenings entertainment by introducing his top team and we all got a free glass of fizz to toast the start of the holiday. Then the evening came to an abrupt end as the Cruise Director declared that there was too much movement on the sea to allow the dancers to take to the stage. We have found over the years that biking is a great way to orient yourself to a new city, much better than walking which takes too long and is tiring and ******* the feet and knees or public transport which doesn't force you to pull out the map and can be disorienting.
