Our first stop was to be the 'Pearl of SE Asia' at Pinang. Our plan was to beat a steady path there with an overnight anchorage at a small island about 50 miles out of Langkawi, then press on and anchor and explore the UNESCO city of Georgetown the following day. So the trip started at 7am my house, early starts are not my thing, but just for this trip I'll make an exception.
