We had a lay day today exploring the back streets of our neighbourhood. Everyone was out and about as not only was it Sunday but it was also St. Gabriel's Day. The dawn followed our 3 hour flight to Addis - after the blaze of lights of Dubai-there was just the blackness of the desert then suddenly the whitest ball was on the horizon following us to Addis for the next hour -below it was a scene of darkness then suddenly again at 7, it was light.
