... To get involved in this Carolyn got a traditinal henna tattoo done on her hand! We really love little India, and actually prefer it to some of the clean cut streets of Singapore...it's got a lot of character and we like that it's a bit chaotic...it makes us want to visit the real thing....we'll see!
Its hard not to ramble on here so I hope I havent gone on to much and have kept it to the point!!!
Lots of love

... as well as the introduction of driverless, automated trains on the Circle Line by 2010!
The trip took us very close to Malaysia and we saw the causeway linking the two countries as well as the more industrial side of the place with timber mills, some steel works and some big pre-cast concreters.
There were also hundreds of the multi storey apartments we saw over at Tampines - with over 4 million people in such a small ...
... to architecturally interesting modern buildings. Lots of tre lined streets makes it a beautiful city. Dark by the time I got to the river & the city looked beautiful all lit up. Got home by 8.30pm & dived into a cold shower as I was saturated with sweat!!!
... the Arab district where I saw the Sultan Mosque which looked like the palace in Aladdin, but the main buildings that fascinated me were two buildings called the Gateway. From afar, it looks like two buildings of different height, but they are in fact the same and from certain angles, the building looks almost 2-dimensional and was designed by the architect I.M.Pei (of Louvre Pyramid fame). It's a really cleverly designed and unique set of buildings.

... still can't use chopsticks, then beddy byes.
We now head to Bali in Indonesia, where we hope for more diving in the Gille Islands, a visit to see the famous Komodo Dragons on Komodo Island (yeah Gaysie that's happening my friend) and maybe some surfing too.
Is it me or do these stupid things keep getting longer, sorry if that bored the **** off you, I promise shorter ones in the future, i'm trying to reign it in honest.
Anyway loves until next time TTFN.
... I met my first real Indian person. The guy behind me kept rubbing his massive belly on me and stepping on my feet while he tried to jump the line. I decided then and there that I will never visit India.
Singapore is clean, organized and has some awesome food - but man it was not cheap. A beer in a restaurant for $10! A hostel bed for $20! This was not the reason I came to Asia. Next stop - Tax Free Island, yes please!
... to do, I know theoretically the reagents needed. The spoiled little brat in me expects all the things I need right on the lab bench, but that is not the reality. It took about an hour for me to figure out how to use this program in the lab- you search your regents (by full name, no abbreviations- ) to locate them. Then you gotta THAW IT OUT!!! (I never realized that most things are not stored at room temperature... is it maybe because room temp is ...
Singapore, Singapore catherine.cy.ng... We took the monorail. Sentosa was a bit like a theme park with some nice beaches, but the view was spoilt by all the cargo ships calling in to Singapore harbour. Whilst we were there we went to Dolphin Lagoon, which was a show with Pink dolphins. The show was excellent and half way through I (Hayley) was picked to go in with the dolphins and play with them and give them a kiss, which the dolphin did back and also squirted me with water- twice! I was very lucky. We ...
Singapore, Singapore mattmcgivern... to China that he must carry with him in the hope he can show them to his next passenger. Truly bizarre. Checked in. Somehow both of our bags were under weight - 18.5 and 27.5, although I'd gained an extra 10kg allowance so had 33 to play with. Had a wander through the shopping mall that is Changi Airport and headed up to the Qantas Club for showers and a drink. Tried to Skype ma and pa, ma could hear me but I could hear nada. And then it wa time to board.
