This morning we woke up and boarded our airport bus at 5am to get to the Chengdu airport. Since we were heading to Lhasa, security was expected to be very tight and lengthy. ... The bags and boxes they carry are
enormous – bigger than they are, so we were awe-struck that they
are able to carry this weight using a head strap. Unfortunately we
couldn't take pictures of these amazing human feats because we were
told specifically not to take pictures when we reached the Chinese
guarded border. Plus, we didn't want to get kicked-out before we
even got in!
