Well after nine wonderful days on Mandrem beach with The Sea Paradise boys, we are fully rested. There really wasn't much to report back unless you wanted to hear about jumping on the motorbike and popping in and out of local villages and spending lazy days on the beach?!
The journey home was quite exhausting and looking back over the past 36 hours or so, I wonder whether holidays are worth it? They obviously are due to visiting lots of very different places and nmaking so many new ...
... the CHANGE. I don't particularly like change, but I like to take myself out of my comfort zone sometimes and see what I can handle. Keep challenging myself.
Keeping this short, otherwise it will get VERY boring. More time for fun stories and escapades then! xox
... tootling around the various villages of north Goa before flying back to Mumbai for our return home.
As usual there will be the daily blogs (Internet permitting) including photos and hopefully video.
Fingers crossed it is less adventurous than last year and we don't have to visit dentists and hospitals alng the way.
Stay tuned - and keep your fingers crossed for our Visas

Autumnal fresh day out on the moor, over-looking satellite centre across the Dales, very surreal! Lots of autmn heathers out amongst the multi-coloured leaves wilting off the trees. Pleasant stream, building dams, children's laughter, dogs being walked, lovers hand-in-hand.

WOW what a week! No sooner had we unpacked our bags and repacked our belongings into storage we were packing again to start our adventure! We had only a very short time to catch up with family before we were saying our goodbyes again. Although we never thought we'd be ready our bags are finally packed and were on the train down to London Kings Cross. We are very tired so hope to get some sleep on the overnight flight to Nairobi.
Huddersfield, England, United Kingdom longwayaround... 15 years. Lucky there was a route back though the viking village!! So glad!
The major highligh for both Noma and Chezza was the perfectly preserved Viking poo! Rather large viking poo too! Sometimes it's like being with 2 little kids!
We then headed off to the York Minster. A truely wonderful gothic cathedral. It's actually Nothern Europes largest gothic cathedral ...
Sometimes I sit and wonder whether it's a good time to write about things. An unnatural fear that what I’m about to write is going to be absolute drivel.
I’m sat on a mattress in the empty hovel that used to be our flat overlooking the canal in Leeds, Which now feels much more akin to the Trainspotting den that Renton locked himself in to go Cold Turkey. I have a tv and lots of ****ing alcohol, a bin to vomit in and an I-pod that ...
... in the distance - well, just their spouts, but it was still exciting. We also saw several pods of dolphins "breaching" not far from the boat. During the trip 150 dolphins were spotted in total - I was amazed, as I wrongly assumed they preferred warm waters.
The Bay of Biscay is notorious for rough seas and I'm a very poor sailor (unlike John who has a cast-iron stomach) so I made sure I was dosed up with Stugeron, but I still felt a little queasy ...
... ferry from Hull to Rotterdam, then driving across Holland, and across north Germany. I don't have a fixed route yet - I think the best holidays are where you say "I'll go in that direction" but without a list of roads to follow. So today I'm getting the van ready. With so much storage space you're always tempted to take everything you own, so you have to exercise some restraint. More updates to follow!
Wetherby, England, United Kingdom shanemhewitt... skipping from our CDs to a radio station for a few minutes every half hour of its own accord, presumably in an attempt to pick up the news or traffic updates but only ever succeeding in giving us a twice hourly dose of the 20th anniversary re-release of a new Band Aid generation singing Feed the World, became a huge source of discontent.
Things didn’t improve in Leeds either, where Ali wanted to quickly grab a gift at ...
