    ... He'd barely made a free-throw earlier on. Well done kid!

    The rain continues and we look up the local cinema showing 'The imitation game' which turns out to be excellent and well worth a watch. It's pretty noisy by the time we get back and eat dinner at 9.30 so we retire to our room in peace ( old are we getting?). We pack up and get some sleep ready for our 8.50 monday morning train, heading south to Berry.

    ... Dinner was at the Blue Anchor Inn, a beautiful little place built in 1380. This was also a major change from our previous night. The atmosphere and food were really good with a harpist playing background music. It was a real roast lamb dinner with heaps of veggies.     ... part of the European community. From there onto Lucerne. A beautiful city on Lake Lucerne but unfortunately the hotel is not up to the same standard. It had been a warm travelling day on the coach so we were looking forward to a nice air conditioned room, no air conditioning.     ... dirty but as we came into old Rome it got a lot nicer. We picked up a local guide who was quite good and added a bit of humour to the walk around tour. He walked us around the sights in old Rome including things like the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain which has just been closed for a refurbishment.
