... A little way along, the track got very rough and the climb to the top started. Chucking it up a couple of gears and the climb wasn't anything to difficult, just rocky riding. Hard tail mountain bikes sure are ******* the tail! Soon enough I made it to the top and got an excellent view of the lagoon on one side, and the Baltic Sea on the other. As I found out later, it was actually the highest dune you can climb along the whole bike track.

With a 7am cross-country bus to catch, I had set my alarm for 6am. Sadly I was woken by snoring at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep so I got up before the alarm went off. ... here in Klaipeda! This park is full of sculptures done from 1984 to 1986 by various artists, it was formerly a cemetery but was demolished by the Russians.
