... it was a picture perfect day, sun shining, no wind! Lots of people out today, sailing, rowing, paddling across the lake, we crossed over to the castle on the one & only bridge to the island. They had a huge ‘Sun Dial’ at the viewing point which was amazingly designed to show times during all the different seasons. Unfortunately, for some reason, the sun actually has to be shining for it to work, must be solar powered I guess! We couldn’t check our clocks etc. for accuracy, which was a shame!
