... houses but very very sparsely and you wonder how those people get anything. All the houses looked well maintained though! Many had grass/lawn on their rooftop, evidently for insulation! I didn't see anyone watering their rooftop lawn, but I suppose you have to climb up there with a garden hose..? Haha. Then water started appearing between the mountains, progressively getting bigger! ... in Norway. It was a beautiful day and the sun was out early in the morning (something 4 o'clock) and already warm when we left Flam on the boat. The views were splendid and everywhere you looked it was breathtaking. Took a lot of pictures in the hope there are a few nice one amongst them.

... t agree more. The cottage is on a little sheep farm, and there are lambs everywhere, chewing the grass with their tiny eyes half closed. The lady that owns the property was very friendly and was even so nice as to drive me and Brittany back into town to pick up groceries (a very good thing because there were no restaurants, and otherwise we would've been eating hopes and dreams). The next afternoon we booked out of the Fretheim hotel and walked the short distance to the train station for our ride on the Flamsbana train to Myrdal.
