There is a popular tour package available called "Norway in a Nutshell", but the price, I thought, was a little high. Norway is one of the most expensive countries in the world to visit. ... accident in the tunnel between Flam and the caves, and nobody could get through. Unfortunately, they hadn't emailed us, hadn't rebooked us on another tour, and all the other tours were full already. ... going on a fjord cruise, joining Fjord Safari's speed boat (where I saw both porpoises and seals), visting a market in Laśrdal (and driving through the worlds longest road tunnel to get there), hiking at the ****rdsbreen glacier, visiting Stegastein viewpoint with an amazing view over the mountains and fjords. ... fall, an we saw beautiful valleys and villages before making it to Flåm, which is 2m above sea level. We were blown away by how beautiful Flåm is, even if the grass is still yellow and there were next to no leaves on the trees. We are at the end of the Aurlandsfjord which leads into the Sognefjord.
