... let off locals who lived off the beaten track. Hot and tired, we have to walk another 15 mins from the bus station back to the hotel. So it took 4 hours for us to get to and from the beach. All this when there was a beach just across the road from the hotel....not convinced that Lindos Beach was so amazing that it was worth all that effort! But I can now say I have been there, swum in the water, seen the medieval castle, looked at the other side of Rhodes.

We arrived in Rhodes at around 7am, but disembarked at about 8.30, I wasn't really sure what to expect from Rhodes, but was pleasantly surprised! Its a medieval island and has an awesome beach, with a diving ledge!

... would all do. That was super fun! It went up to 60knots & we also had a mini tour of half of the island, but again I didn't take my iPad as I was scared it would get wet. But Stacey took her go pro so hopefully we would get some good photos off that, but will wait and see. Afterwards we got back to the beach and most people had left already, I guess shopping or heading back to the cruise ship (a lot of people were still very hungover). ...

... in Greece and Turkey. This time, I wouldn't be a teaching assistant, but I would be responsible for organizing the group's movements and activities. There were two teachers, 24 students and a TA, Deb Camileri. The students were taking, appropriately, Ancient Civilaztions. We spent two weeks in Greece and two weeks in Turkey.
