The room and service was exceptional. The spa was just what the doctor ordered after the long walk from Waterville, WA. The management graciously provided us with a substantial and nutritious early breakfast to enjoy the next morning since we would be leaving prior to their scheduled time.We would love to come here again for a relaxing weekend.

... a chocolate shop and bought one piece of chocolate: caramel covered with dark chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt - delicious!
When I got back I opened both of the doors to get a breeze coming through the room. It was pretty warm inside as it was a sunny warm day today. We didn't need our jackets at all. They also had live entertainment, a woman who sang some of her own songs and other popular songs. She was pretty good. Then we walked back to the hotel and went to bed.

Hard to believe that one week from now will find us boarding a plane in Vancouver, B.C, where we'll fly overnight to Heathrow, arriving Monday afternoon. We're hoping to knock ourselves out on the flight with ZzzQuil, so we can wake feeling refreshed enough to enjoy our first stop - Avebury - on the way to our lodging for the first night.
Hopefully we won't suffer from jet lag too badly!
So smoky due to the fires! We just wanted to get some air, finding the fresh stuff just south of the US/Canadian border.
We stopped at a fruit stand in Summerland to get gifts. Stopped at the border to give them all of our tomatoes and green onions. Stopped to convert the car's electronics back to miles from kilometers. Finally stopping at Leavenworth for the ...
