We woke up an hour late, of course. We had another super comfy bed that was pretty much magnetizing, or so it seemed. All of their rooms were on the ground floor, so we had another easy night. Tomorrow is on to Utica, Il and Starved Rock State Park and some wonderful hiking in the canyons of the park.
We ended up moving on to Champaign, Il since the weather was pretty bad. The campground we were heading to called us twice, saying we have a lot of mud. So we missed an area that had a few things for us to see but Champaign is a nice place and our campground is really nice.

The route took me out on Ogden Avenue almost arrow straight before turning on to Joliet Road which wound it's way through Lyons, McCook and Indian Head Park before I took a short break. 66 has been completely replaced by I-55 for a short stretch before the old road is rejoined running into Joliet where the Blues Brothers greet you.
