... We had planned on spending the night there but since we were now on Pacific time it was only 12:30 so we pressed on to Washington State to stay at the Fam Camp at Fairchild AFB. So far Eastern WA has been a huge disappointment. Unfortunately, it reminds me of days spent in southwest OK and North Texas.

... south. It took forever to get through the border, 90 minutes! The Canadians drive to Washington state for gas, groceries, etc because it is so much cheaper. But it really clogs the border.
Once we got back to the storage unit where our coaches were, we had another surprise. The ground fault circuit kicked the power out. That meant the frig switched to battery power. It ran as long as it could, then it went dead. Have you ever smelled hamburger that ...

... to stay awake now, but had a little conversation with my neighbor on the aisle, just back from fishing in Mexico. He said he had been to Paris once, but decided there were too many people, and he would rather go and catch fish somewhere. ... is the Key Arena . . . a dated appearing venue . . . where the Seattle Sonics (basketball) used to play . . . before moving to Oklahoma . . . they call the area 'Seattle Center' . . . it also includes some other public items, like a museum, but the center piece is the Seattle Space Needle left over from the 1962 World's Fair. I took a photo of it being behind the Key Arena. We took the kids there many years ago on trip to Seattle!
