Roses, Roses and More Roses!!!

... up with 3 field trips to NR … and took over 600 pics of Roses.

On entering the photo contest at the Spokane Rose Society (at Northland Rosarium) I got a blue ribbon! And, 2 red ribbons! Not bad for an amateur!

Now I’ve got to get home and work with Kent on his Powerpoint presentation on Buck Roses as promised!

Enjoy the Roses!

Happy Trails!

... amber beer. The waitress tried to warn us "its red!!!" but Jay said okay. What came was soda-pop red, sweet but not sweet enough to be soda and just generally pretty awful. Jay gagged it down and then ordered a Heineken (as seen in the photograph).

(Jill didn't have nearly the same problems - once she learned the appropriate adjectives for "white" and "dry" in the ...
