    ... As it was the hottest part of the day and the temp was 37C it was time to settle down with a film.....oh such a choice!! No need to watch any of that chick flick stuff......:) Pottered around for the rest of the afternoon and then at 5:30pm moved up to the pool for a dip and quick 20 lengths. I was the only one there.     ... between Ayios Nikolaos and Dhekelia Garrison.....a journey of around 15 miles where the border for much of the way is only 50 mtrs from the road. Arrived at Dhekelia and headed for the beach, parked up and time for a picnic. Pitta bread, salad, fetta and hellim, washed down with cold water!     ... 1500 AD, Agia Napa Monastery is the best known landmark of the village as well of the surrounding area. The Church is partly built underground and cut into the rock.
    The Monastery is in beautiful gardens and there is a very old sycamore tree in front of the south gate which is believed to be over 600 years old and stands next to a big reservoir.
